Job Description

Key activities include testing and debugging RF reference and evaluation designs using Microtunes IC&lquo;s. May also obtain quotes for materials and assemblies, kit parts for assembly, and assemble boards. Will work closely with RF systems engineers to refine test and characterization standards and specifications. Will perform volume testing of EV, RD and test boards and build, rework and repair PCB&lquo;s.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience as an electronics technician.
• Strong product test skills.
• Must have experience using PC and Microsoft Office.
• Must have experience with analog RF, digital test methodology and equipment.
• Must have experience soldering SMD components, including fine-pitch IC&lquo;s and size 0402 components.
• Must be able to pick up and move equipment ranging in weight from 40-60 pounds.
• Knowledge of SCTE/ANSI measurement standards is a plus.
• Circuit board assembly is a plus.
• Experience with GPIB (IEEE-488) controlled equipment is a plus.
