Title: Senior RF/Analog IC Design Engineer

Job Description:
Develops broadband RF integrated circuits from product definition through
transfer to production. Candidate may work with marketing, systems engineering,
and customers to define new products and set specifications. Develops and
implements characterization plans for IC\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s produced by the
design team and on occassion may lead the team. Candidate will work with
systems engineers, application engineers, and marketing managers to prepare
product briefs, data sheets, and application notes. Candidate will be
responsible for measurement and characterization of new ICs produced by design
team. Candidate will work with product and test engineers to ensure ICs are
successfully transferred to production.
Requirements:
- BSEE + 5 or more years directly related experience
- Extensive experience with Cadence analog IC design tools including
SpectreRF.
- Extensive experience designing silicon CMOS/bipolar/BiCMOS
RFIC\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s for the commercial market. Requires extensive transistor
level experience designing fundamental RFIC building blocks including low noise
amplifiers, variable gain amplifiers, fixed gain amplifiers, mixers, voltage
controlled oscillators, synthesizers, phase locked loops and necessary support
circuitry such as op-amps, bandgap references and current mirrors.
- Extensive hands-on experience characterizing RFIC\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s using
equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, noise figure meters,
oscilloscopes, etc.
- Fluent English, both written and oral.
