Title: Oracle Developer

Location: Plano, Texas

Job Description:
Candidate will help support, maintain, and enhance Oracle Applications 11i. Candidate will be responsible for development of custom programs, reports, and/or shell scripts to enhance Oracle Applications, as well as troubleshooting and issue resolution using PL/SQL, Workflow Builder, Oracle Reports, and other Oracle related tools. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with users, Oracle DBAs, and Oracle Support. Excellent written and verbal skills are also required, as well as the ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks under pressure.

Requirements:

BS, BA, or BBA degree required.
5+ years experience in developing in an Oracle Applications environment using PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Reports, UNIX shell scripts, Java, HTML, XML, and other related technologies.
Ability to create/modify processes using Workflow Builder and Business Events.
Ability to create/modify concurrent programs and managers within Oracle Applications
Experience working with Applications open interfaces and APIs.
Ability to create and maintain documentation on customizations and upgrades.
Ability to work closely with end users on specifications and requirements for new functionality and upgrades.
Experience using source code control software with Applications.
Ability to conform to documented software development policies and procedures
Exposure to Oracle Discoverer a plus
Exposure to data warehouse technology a plus
DBA experience a plus.
