Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Plano, Texas

Job Description:
The individual will record, reconcile and close fixed assets for company. Will assist with month end journal entries and analysis, reconcile bank activity, and review investments for proper classification. Person will be responsible for various balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations. He/She will review foreign operations financial statements for reasonableness, record all activity and correspond with foreign accountants to resolve accounting issues when they arise. In addition, the individual will assist with income tax calculations and will prepare various sales and franchise tax returns.

Requirements:

BS, BA, OR BBA Degree with a major in accounting with a minimum of 1 year accounting experience.
Must be a CPA or CPA candidate (if within 3 years of degree)
Strong background in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
