Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Location: Plano, Texas

Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will ensure invoices are distributed to customers and post customer payments to correct invoices. They will generate and analyze A/R reports on a weekly basis. Ability to work with Sales/Customer Service to contact customers regarding past due invoices and to create and release holds on customer orders based upon credit limits, past due balances and expected future shipments. The candidate will assist with analyzing customer request for changes in credit limits and will assist in the month-end and quarter-end accounting process to close the books (support revenue transactions, reconcile customer orders, etc). They will maintain customer credit files and update documentation on a periodic basis. Candidate will be required to perform other ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

- Must have 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience preferred with accounts receivable and in dealing with Sales/Customer Service department and customers
- Must be able to work with multiple departments and address issues arising from multiple sources/individuals
- Must have strong communication skills and be able to speak and write in a clear, concise manner
- Must have strong MS Excel skills, experience with a major ERP system is preferred (i.e., Oracle). MS Access experience is a plus.
- Must be a dependable, reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
