Located on the main Autobahn between Munich and Nuremberg, Ingolstadt is within easy driving distance to well-known locations such as Salzburg, Innsbruck and Prague. The nearby Alps offer varied summer and winter sporting activities, with excellent skiing, camping and hiking possibilities.
Located north of Munich, and just south of the largest national park in Germany, Ingolstadt maintains a European small-town charm while offering significant cultural activities including theater, several museums as well as world-famous music festivals.
