The Fluke 1623 Kit Basic Geo Earth Ground Testers Kit is a distinctive earth ground tester that can perform all four types of earth ground measurements. Specifically, the Fluke 1625 tester is able to measure earth ground loop resistances using only clamps called Stake less testing. This method doesn't require the use of earth ground stakes or the disconnection of ground rods. Three other testing methods may be used. First is a 3 and 4-Pole Fall of Potential with standard earth ground testing using two ground stakes. Second, Selective testing where without disconnecting ground rods, a technician can measure ground resistance using a combination of stakes and a clamp. Third, Stake less testing that is an innovative solution using only clamps, instead of ground stakes, to measure earth ground loop resistance. The tester features a one-button measurement concept, 4-pole soil resistivity testing, selective testing, no disconnection of ground conductor (1 clamp), stake less testing, quick ground loop testing (2 clamps) and a measuring frequency 128 Hz. Included in the kit is Fluke 1623 tester, two test leads, four earth ground stakes, three cable reels with wire (2-25 m, 1-50 m), two clamps (one inducting, one sensing) and a rugged carrying case.
