The GDLS 350 is a pocket sized Dual LED Source representing the latest design in stabilized, NIST calibrated light sources for accurate loss measurement on multi mode fibers. The GDLS 350 provides a 2KHz tone output for fiber identification when used with the GRP400 series Optical Power Meters. Features a multimode application. Provides a stable light source. It is also adaptable - it interfaces to all industry standard connectors. The GDLS 350 comes with an SC adapter. Other common connector types are available but sold separately - SC, FC and ST as well as hybrid cables for connection to other connector interfaces. Specifications: wavelength of 850nm and 1300nm, output power of -20dBm Typical, output stability of +/- 0.05dB, 1 hour, + /- 0.03dB long after 15 minute warm-up, spectral width of 40nm/120nm, tone output of 2kHz, operating temperature of -10C to 50-degrees C, storage temperature of -30-degrees C to 60-degrees C. Features a push button on and automatic shutoff. Dimensions: 6.1 by 0.94 by 0.75in (15.5 by 2.38 by 1.90cm). Weight: 3-ounces (85g). Mini fiber TOOLS are rugged, small and lightweight and are designed to be use in demanding environments. These tools are used in a variety of markets including Telco, MSO, CATV, Utility, Government/Military, and anyone else involved in installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables and networks.
