The Industrial Fiber Optics Laboratory Helium Neon Laser is a Class II laser that emits a beam of visible red light with 0.5mW optical power output and 632.8nm wavelength for demonstrating optical principles and effects for students. The laser has a threaded, nickel-plated aluminum optics mount with 3/4" ID (inside diameter) and 32 TPI (threads per inch) that allows the use of attachments such as lenses, filters, and polarizers (sold separately) to suit different applications. It also has a 1/4-20 thread for attaching to a compatible tripod mount (sold separately). The laser is housed in an acrylic case that resists impacts and is transparent for observation of the laser's internal components. This unit is compliant with U.S. Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) regulations for laser light emitting products. It comes with 110VAC power adapter, and a user's manual with safety information and common experiments.
